Jean Pistentis hails from Smethport, PA in Northern PA. In 1977, she received an Associate Degree in Radio Broadcasting from Williamsport Community College, after which she moved to Southwestern PA. She was employed by several radio stations in the area before retiring to raise her 3 children. During that time, Jean dedicated herself to volunteer work, particularly to singing with area church choirs, The Saint Vincent Camerata, and The Greensburg Diocesan Choir. She has even traveled with the Camerata to Italy to perform in Rome, Lodi & Bergamo.
Jean lives with her husband, Terry “Lefty” Pistentis, in Greensburg, PA. Their children are all married, and they have 5 grandchildren.
